Samba

Squeakkk!! Squeakkk!! Suddenly their was a sound of braking shoes skidding.

Enzo,Jayden,Gene and Ariki were dribbling the soccer ball along the aisle.

It was the year 2016 our school was doing 2 parts of a production called’’ I love the knight life’’  and something alse that's exciting is it is a song too and were in it. Did you know that king Arthur is a very bad singer?

When they reached the stage Enzo did a trick after they jogged

up the stairs and started their dance it is called  SAMBA!!!!! ‘’DU DU DU DU DU’’.Kaiden punched his hands up like a mountain and avalanched down as fast as he could.

Room 3 jingled and junggled their bottoms like monkeys as they danced they did funny things.They were great dances I think that Kaiden worked the hardest by pumping his arms up and down really fast also because he tried his best and he remembered everything he was supposed to do I would really want to do the dance moves in samba it sounds really awesome dance in the play.

Cook Island

The Cook Island Group were doing a proformenes at Anglia hall.
First they had to get changed and practest the Cook Island national Anthem.They sang buttifuly like a bird chirping it's morning song.

After Leroy tugged the old green curtains then Leroy said ''Chuhoyyyy!'' then they started the beet ''due due due due''!.The senior girls walked swag out like a swing.As a blink of an eye they started to hula.

After they started the Cook Island National Anthem they swang the their hips at the same time.


It was time for the Rumble the junior boy's were wondering out then we started to hula.

It was the tokeia. The boy's seriously strongly protenderd to pull the junior girl's out of the room. Confidently everyone closed in-like there was a sewer mounster on the ragged stag.

It was  time for all around the world  we had to take anyone up to the slippery stag and had to teach them how to hula.Then everyone joined in for a hula.

 It was the end ''few I thought that I was going to die.''

On thundering Thursday I was at Chipmunks for holiday program.That day the shiny black sky was storming along the brick department building.I was slipping on the bouncy slide when I finally made it to the tippy top.That’s when I noticed it was storming hard.I was scared of the thundering storm so I was running like a wild beast all around in the department.I ran in  circles then I ran up the ladder then down the slide.Secretly someone told me to calm down.

Long long ago, there lived seven little fish. They liked to flush about among the blistering glistening sea.Also they like glazing in the flaming sun and the hotful tenticles of the sun.

One day, a mother fish said to her little fish, ''Now listen, you children. Keep close to the rocks. Don't play out at the open sea. Today, Tatarimaka goes out fishing.''

Tatarimaka was a giant who fished with a giant black net. He made it with the waxy flax that grew by Spirits Bay.

On this day, however, it was smooth. The sun was flaming upon them but that day...

There was an asteroid. It was roaring and flaming. It hit them with a SPLASH!!! They went up into the sky and turned into stars. They are now called Matariki.

Jaxon Flyn forest(story)

Jaxon and Flynn loved strolling through the forest because they liked to watch the beautiful sunset pass by. Also, they liked to watch the kingfishers fish.

One tumbling Tuesday, Jaxon and Flynn decided to walk in the forest by Mount Mighty. They  saw scary eyes of vicious wolves in the deep dark woods. 

Jaxon said, "Scramble for our life Flynn'' Flynn said ''lets run down this dark path''.A few hours later a recognisable voice filled the air.''Mum Dad over here'' the boy's yelled with excitement  ''lets carry you boy's home and get you hot chocolate''. mum wisbred.

Snake Attack

WALT make up a story about a Pet Day problem.

WWBSWW:

• Begin with an orientation to tell the reader who, did what, where and when.

“Pet Day will be on Friday,” Miss Anderson, Tom’s teacher, announced to the class on Monday. “Bring your pet to school and tell us about it, then we will have a pet parade.”

Tom was so excited. He would be able to bring Harry to school to 

show everyone.

• Write the events leading up to the problem.

At the end of the day, he ran all the way home to get his pet ready for Friday.

He loved Harry and had wanted to show his friends for a long time, but his mum and dad had told him that Harry must never leave the house; but, now, his

teacher had given him permission to bring it to school.

Smilingly, he polished Harry’s green silky skin, talking to it with his friendly voice. “You’re allowed to come to school, Harry. You can meet my friends and my friends can meet you.”

As soon as Friday came around, Harry carefully took Harry out of its cage and placed him into his black backpack. He couldn’t wait to get to school, so he ran

all the way.

When the bell rang, he and the rest of the class stepped into the 

classroom.

• Write the problem.

Tom opened his backpack to show his friends what he had brought to school for Pet Day.

“It’s a green, slippery, slimey …...................” he said slowly. “Snake!” he 

shouted.

“Tom Denver, give me that thing right now!” Miss Anderson 

commanded.

Tom opened his hand to pass it over, but, at that moment, naughty Billy Burton lunged to grab it himself. He bumped Tom’s shoulder and Tom hurtled forward, the snake flying out of his hand to the back of the classroom.

“Eeeeeee! Where is it?” squealed Miss Anderson.

Chaos threatened in Room 4.  Children jumped up and ran around, screeching

their lungs out and pushing over chairs and desks, trying to find Tom’s snake.

• Write the events to tell your readers how the problem was solved.

Tom had an idea. He borrowed some things from around the class room – scissors, cords for tying, wire, paper, glue and the teacher's lunch. 
He had been making a construction in his class with all the equipment. 
He glued some sheets of paper together and looped a piece of wire onto the pieces of paper. He put a quarter of a cord around the wire, then put the ham sandwich in the middle so Harry could get it. 

In one minute, Harry slowly slithered to the ham sandwich. 

Suddenly, Tom let go of the cord. 

Harry was trapped.

"What a relief"! Mrs Andersen gasped with amazement. "Never bring a snake to school again."

My favourite part was his wallet set on fire. That was awesome. Jonathan made a $5 note into a $10 note. Amazing.

The Birthday of the Church

The Church is people spreading the good news. 
Before Pentecost, the followers of Jesus locked themselves in a room. They didn’t want to be arrested so they didn’t talk about Jesus, then the Holy Spirit came and gave them strength and courage. They started spreading the Good News. This was the beginning of the Church.This is Pentecost.

My sisters birthday(story)

One day, I was going shopping with my muma for my sister's birthday present.
When we got there, Mum parked the convertible Nissan, then we walked inside the Warehouse...
There were lots, lots, lots! of toys.There were barby dolls, Lego, cars, trucks, bicycles, fishing rods and sports equipment. I got to decide which toy...
I chose Frankenstein. She had black and white hair. She had nails in her head and a scaly green tail. 
We bought it then drove off to my sister's birthday at Inflatable World. I played lots of games with my mum and my sister, Jorja.
At the end, we had cake. It looked like a big dinosaur, but it was a Barby dressed up in a dinosaur costume. My sister liked it very much. I was so happy my sister liked her birthday.
After the party, we drove home, had fish and chips for dinner, then went to bed.

The kirikiriroa zoo vist

Scratch! Scratch! Skedaddle! The meerkats scratched and skedaddled  all around.

My class were at the Kirikiriroa Zoo.We were at the zoo because we had filled up the marble jar and our teacher gave us an investigation to about if the zoo is a good place for animals.

We stared through the window of the meerkats' desert-like enclosure. They ran slowly like they had run out of fuel. They scampered all around as the zookeeper gently put down the box that had mealy worms in it under some leaves.They had to dig for their food.They swallowed their food in a flash. Next, they played in the boxes by jumping in and out of the boxes.I don't know what Meerkats mean. It is so complicated for me to find out.

He liked walking on the beach. He liked whittling his slingshot.
He hated school.
One day,
- didn't go to school
- went to the beach
- pirates came
- stole him and the other girls and boys
- sold him in Ireland to Milchu
- was a shepherd - looked after sheep and pigs (swine)
- started talked to God - trusted God and was happy
- One night, heard God talking to him - told him to go the a ship
- when he was on board, - big storm - ship grounded in France
- crew starving
- Patrick asked God for help
- God sent him pigs and an apple tree- ate pork dinner and apple sauce

Patrick Mc Alpen was born some were in Britain. His parents are rich. His dad is a Roman Soldier. Patrick likes to stroll on the beach but if Patrick goes to school he hates it.One day Patrick didn't go to school he raced off to the beach. Patrick pretended that the farriers Scottish wores were attacking Patrick. SUDDENLY! a  pyrite ship rold among the ground one buccaneer grabbed Patrick and throw him and other boy's and girl's. The pirates took the children to Ireland.  

World of Math

"Chatter,  Chatter,  Chatter.''  Everyone talked when they entered  the grand hall. We were amazed by the interesting math games then we were interrupted by Kath. Kath said, ''Hi, children. My name is Kath. We are going to learn about math.''

The Rocket

SPLASH!! Everyone splashed into the calm blue water. It was freezing cold. I thought I was going to drown, so I gingerly paddled over to the ladder, then I lined up for my next turn.
When it was my turn, I stepped on to the wrinkly rubbery rocket. It was really slippery. I was seriously scared. I thought I was going to fall. I was nearly at the end when they started saying, "FALL! FALL! FALL!!" then I flipped like a flying saucer, speeding through the calm smooth air and landed like a cannonbolt, then I splashed into the choppy waves. ''Wow!'' then it was time for prizes. Ella and Brylie won. Still, we got a lollipop.

One day, we went swimming. When we got there, we had to get changed. Next, we had to go on the side of the pool. When we got in the pool, it had choppy waves. We did rocket arms, freestyle, backstroke, and the licky last, gliding.
